Training ratio's are worked out on a basis of how many instructors, to how many candidates and how many Trucks there are on any given course.
These ratio's will determine how many days training is needed. For instance, a ratio of:
1 - 3 - 1 (1 instructor - 3 candidates - 1 truck) would usually require a 5 day course.
1 - 2 - 1 (1 instructor - 2 candidates - 1 truck) would usually require a 4 day course.
1 - 1 - 1 (1 instructor - 1 candidates - 1 truck) would usually require a 3 day course.
These ratio's can be adapted to the type of course you require. Take a look below at the different course types we provide training for and please get in contact with us if you are unsure of your course requirements.
We can train up to 3 candidates on this type of course. If you require 3 candidates on this course, the course length will be up to 5 days, 2 candidates will take up to 4 days and 1 candidate will take up to 3 days to complete.
These courses typically takes up to 2 days to complete, depending on the level of prior experience the candidates have. On conversion courses (1 type of truck to another) we will ask to provide proof of previous training for the types of trucks, or plant that the candidate is certificated for.
There are operators who have had / held no prior certificate but still operate Forklift trucks, Plant and Machinery in the workplace, and for these candidates we will require proof of operating experience. We will send and ask the candidate to fill out a previous experience form for the past 3 months, once the course has been booked, but before the course is due to commence.
We can train up to 3 candidates on this type of course and this is typically a 1 day course. Certificates / ID Cards for each candidate will need to be shown to the course instructor at the start of the refresher course.
Please contact us with regards for your requirements as we may need prior approval from ALLMI before we can book your course.
